Overview

The BCAA can grant an Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) to an operator that has its principal place of business in Bermuda, once we are satisfied that the applicant is competent to safely operate the types of aircraft specified in the certificate, on flights and for the purposes described.

An operator’s “principal place of business” is defined as the primary location: from which flight operations and maintenance management and control are exercised; where the majority of the operational and safety-related records are kept; and at which accountable managers are based.
